In this part of the book (100-108) June is fighting someone, there’s a huge crowd and people are making bets on who’s going to win the fight. Anyway this song, Radio Active, the music video is what I imagine how it is in the book, except humans are fighting instead. Ha-Ha.

Accidentally In Love-Counting Crows Pg.120-132

In pages 120-132, the song Accidentally in Love, describes what the character are really feeling and saying. Daniel (Day) is kind of falling for Miss Iparis (June) as in how he says he wants to kiss her, and how’s there’s something different about her, compared to the other girls he’s gone out with.

Beautiful-Sean Kingston Pg.137

Day says to June, “You’re very attractive.” Just the way the author makes him say it, just made me think of the song Beautiful. Like how the singer in the song sings it, is how Day is saying in the book. Just makes this part more romantic.

L.A. Woman-Billy Idol Pg.133

This song really describes the time in the moment of this part (pg.133) in the book. How? Because there’s just this “lonely girl” and this guy who really wants to kiss her. So he feels that he can trust her, but at the same time, cant. Anyways this song is about loving an L.A women and well Day is loving an L.A woman (June)

Tonight I’m loving you-Enrique Iglesias Pg.137-138

Day finally kidded her, but he wants more. He pushed her to the wall, rubing his hand down her body, starting from her face. This song is describing what he wants but doesn’t do. So basically, wanting to send her his love but then stopping himself.

The Link-Ron Jones (From Star Trek) Pg.149-160

This song basically a back ground song to what’s happening in the book at this time. The song makes the death of Day’s mother more intense than it already is. So first the song starts out high and extreme, that’s the part where the boy is running to get home to try to save his family. Then the song gets quiet, the boy is now talking to his family and hiding them away under the house from the bad guys (Ha-Ha) then the song gets more intense and that’s when they find Day’s mother and kill her.

In The Flesh-Pink Floyd Pg.115-120

This song is the best background music to this part. It character, talking in a tone.

Waiting for a Girl like You-Foreigner Pg.303-305

This song describes the background feelings of Day. Because Day and June have now been through a lot together. And now they’re starting over their relationship. This time he knows for sure that she’s the one and she knows that he’s the one for her. So this song just goes perfect to this part in the book. When I read this part, this song just popped up in my head.
